How long is the service?
Our morning service lasts usually 90 minutes. Within that 90 minutes there is a mix of community sharing, sung worship, prayers and of course a sermon based on a bible teaching.
Our evening service lasts around 60 minutes and is a much more reflective and quieter service than the morning offering.
After each service everyone is welcome to stay for coffee and tea. This is a great opportunity to get to know the church community in a social and informal way.
What about my children?
We have a vibrant youth ministry at PDBC with something to suit any age. Connect, our youth ministry, aims to make learning fun, accessible and diverse whilst being rooted in the Gospel.
Below is what we have on offer for each age group.
Connect 1
From 0 - 4 years.
Connect 1 provides a safe environment for your child to play and learn about God. Bible stories, crafts, and snacks.
Connect 2
Ages 5-7
Meet to learn together about God through crafts, stories and songs.
Junior Connect
Ages 8-11yrs
Meet together to learn about God through lots of exciting and fun ways.
Youth Connect
High school age young people.
Currently the young people meet together for 3 weeks and then on the 4th Sunday they serve in various areas of the Church. This is providing opportunities for young people to use their gifts and learn how to serve in the Church.
